The new 2022 Jeep Compass Latitude Lux adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, an 8-way driver’s seat, and a self-portable rearview mirror that reaches Latitude trim level. This small Jeep SUV also has a 7-inch digital driver information system, a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, and a remote start engine.
By 2022, Compass Limited and High Altitude installing a soft touch panel and heated rear seats are a new option.
The Jeep continues to use the 2.4 liter 4-cylinder engine in the 2022 Compass. It produces 177 horsepower and 172 pounds of torque and uses a 6-speed automatic transmission with FWD and a 9-speed automatic with AWD. The maximum towing capacity weighs 2,000 pounds per AWD.
As reported by the automaker, Jeep’s Active Drive AWD has a plan to cross the line to improve fuel economy. Available in Sport and Latitude Determination Level; standard with Latitude Lux and Limited trim.
The 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk has a unique Active Drive Low AWD system with low distance and a clear 20: 1 resolution. The Trailhawks also have hill-descent control, an additional Rock driving mode, and an extra suspension lift to provide 8.6 inches for ground clearance, 19 inches for the flow of water, and an angle of 30 degrees. Front and rear tow hooks, skid plates, and 17-inch wheels are standard with the 2022 Jeep Compass Trailhawk.
