1. Ram Care – What is it?
Being a Ram owner is an experience. To show our owners just how much they are valued, we created Ram Care – a members only club that affords owners 24/7 support, as well as access to exclusive benefits, services and extras not found elsewhere.
2. How do Ram care members Benefit?
As a Ram Care member, enhanced support and maintenance services are a key part of your experience. You have insider access to our top of the line web site, and, when you visit any of our Ram Brand events, we roll out the red carpet for you. Apart from these tangible benefits, Ram care also offers services such as trip interruption protection* and first-day rental coverage*, designed to give you peace of mind as you drive.
3. What is the procedure for accessing maintenance services?
The maintenance services under Ram care vary based on the length of the owner’s membership and can be accessed at any US authorized FCA US LLC dealer. For a 2-year membership, owners receive four oil changes and four tire rotations. These should be spread out over the 2-year membership period. to be used over the term of the membership (24 months). For one-year memberships, owners receive two oil changes and two tire rotations. This should also be used during the one-year membership period.
4. Will Ram care owners receive any extra service offers?
Owners can access the Ram Care site to determine whether additional service offers are being extended. They can then select and take advantage of any offers available at their preferred dealership.
5. Where should I take my vehicle for Can I take my vehicle anywhere for maintenance or service?
At our authorized FCA US LLC dealers, we have factory-trained technicians, as well as service equipment designed exclusively with the maintenance or service of your Ram vehicle in mind. Whatever need you have can be met by one of our authorized dealers – whether that involves purchasing genuine parts, customizing your accessories, or having maintenance done by a Mopar certified technician.
6. How can I determine if there is an outstanding service recall for my vehicle?
Recalls are announced if a manufacturer recognizes, after production, that one of its vehicles has a defect. The manufacturer assumes full responsibility for this defect, and stands the costs associated with repairing or replacing the affected component to ensure that your vehicle meets established quality standards.
7. Why should I use you for servicing my vehicle?
When you service your vehicle with us, we take care of you. If you need to be mobile while your vehicle is being worked on, we provide both a shuttle and rental vehicle service for your convenience. We also stock Mopar Accessories and Mopar Performance parts so you can get the most out of your vehicle.
8. How do I ensure that my warranty remains valid?
You can play your part in maintaining your warranty by servicing your vehicle at the required service intervals and also by being proactive in addressing any issues that arise. Your owner’s manual provides clear service timelines, however, ensure that you listen to the built in features of the vehicle, and take note of features such as the “check engine” dashboard lights that will alert you if extraordinary maintenance is needed.
9. If I have a warranty, will it pay for all expenses?
Warranties will cover some repairs at specific manufacturers, but not at others. In general, a lot of warranties cover the cost of parts and labor necessary for making unexpected repairs. For regularly scheduled maintenance, however, this cost usually has to be covered by the customer.
10. Does factory warranty extend to used vehicles?
Warranties can be tranferred. So, if a vehicle is within its kilometre and duration caps, it is likely that its factory warranty will be maintained.
